GEOLOGY & MINERALIZATION
The Patriot Deposit Property, located in the Basin and Range region, contains tungsten mineralization in the form of scheelite. The area consists of Permian-age sedimentary rocks (clastic and carbonate) intruded by a late Cretaceous to Tertiary two-mica quartz monzonite. Tungsten is found in contact metamorphic zones, quartz veins, and greisen zones within the Lower Pequop Formation. The deposit is classified as a skarn-type, intrusion-related tungsten system.
